Spent Paper Daisy
I tried a couple of shots for Abstract Thursday, but it's not something about which I am confident. So when I saw this down at the lake this morning it hit me that, at first glance, how one could think it was well and truly spent, but no, it is still fulfilling its prime function of ensuring the continuation of its species. I find these seed heads quite fascinating and all so different in their function - and indeed still quite beautiful.
