Life with The Pinks

Stormy skies

Today we have come on our final (possibly) camping trip if the year. As we were pitching our tent the skies were blackening, and every now and then there was a distant rumble. It didn't take long for the storm to reach us; thankfully just as the final guyrope was pegged. The children (2 mini pinks, and three friends) all dealt with it wonderfully. We counted elephants between thunder claps and watched the lightening through the tent windows. And the best bit about a rain storm - muddy puddles to splash in afterwards. By teatime we had five sopping wet, muddy but very happy children.
