Centennial Clock
This view of the centennial clock and the municipal building facing Plaza Vasco De Quiroga is rarely ever available. Normally, there are two rows of parked cars on the building side, one row of cars on the plaza side and a couple of lanes of moving traffic in between, but for some reason today the street was blocked off at both ends. Also hard to come by lately is a blue sky background for any kind of architectural shot, but today was different (at least this morning) and the sun was shining. The inscription under the clock says it was to commemorate the centennial in 1910. I guess the town did nothing to celebrate the bicentennial in 2010 or we have not yet discovered what form that monument takes.
