Retail Therapy

The result of a rare day out in the shops.  I'm not sure black trainers with Day-Glo yellow laces is really fitting for someone of my advancing years, .........but hey, what have I got to lose?  Anyway, they were a bargain.

Enjoying a couple of days off work, we headed up to a designer outlet.  I thought I'd got a bargain with these trainers but, as usual, my darling wife managed to scoop the best, albeit after having to make a call to another store to find the sheepskin coat in her size.  They were very helpful and are posting it out to us.  

A pity really, I'd offered to go and fetch it for her, exceptional husband that I am.  And I will sue anyone that suggest that my offer had anything to do with the fact that the store was in the Lake District!
