......over the sea to Skye.....

Woke up slightly delicate....had breakfast...scrambled eggs and bagel. toast and marmalade....and an hour later felt like crap again.

The Boss and I went on a grand tour.....she drove....I was still having dizzy spells.

First stop Glen Finnan to see the Jacobite Memorial.....the only time we had to pay for a car park....and they wanted an entry fee to get right up to the monument. I managed to get this shot....and then the camera died on me....the battery needed charging. We also had a quick look at the viaduct which is used in the Harry Potter films.

Next stop.....Arisaig...feeling better....so a little stroll brought me to a much more impressive memorial. In this tiny little village is a memorial to Czechoslavak members of the SOE who were trained here to be dropped behind German lines and into occupied countries for special missions.....48 missions in all. The memorial is in English and Czech and lists those who did not return from those missions. It's beautifully crafted and it stands in a tiny memorial garden looking out to sea. It's a pity that few people see it tucked away in this quiet corner of Scotland.

From there on to Mallaig....a stroll around the town....feeling much better and we saw the train that doubles as the Hogwarts Express.

We drove back to Neptune's Staircase and had dinner at the hotel there...and then back home for our last night......still not feeling 100%

Das vidanya moy padruga.
