Where's the snow ?

The forecast today was for heavy rain followed by snow. We certainly got the rain but hardly any rain. Bibi called after school to ask if I was on my way home in the car and if I could pick her up on the way because it was raining so heavily. She had sent me a text message earlier to say that she had had a rubbish day at school. One psychology teacher told her that she had put too much energy into her homework (of which she was really proud of and had shown me last weekend). The other teacher had accused her of plagarism (she had shown her work to another girl in the class and she had copied Bibi's work).  
After picking her up from school, we went to Tesco go get something for dinner. It was then that it started to snow. We went to the cinema with Penny to see 'La La Land' (a beautiful, colourful romantic musical). We were expecting a blanket of snow when we came out from the cinema but there was none.
