Sunshine and sleet!

One of the benefits of having a dog is the fresh air you get walking the beast!  Very fresh!  Bitterly so, but I had so many layers on I hardly noticed.  Lovely to be up on the cliffs and to be able to watch the weather coming over the Hoy hills towards us.  Lots of high winds, and sleet and snow showers but nothing lying for long.  

Yesterday the mail plane couldn't get here, but some post came by road and ferry.  This morning the mail plane was within eight minutes of landing but then turned back to Inverness so Mike only had some of yesterday's mail to deliver today and tomorrow will have a huge van full.  Hope it's not too wild a day . . .
