Peacock Butterfly

Woke still exhausted this morning, but the sun was shining.
It was good to be in the sunlight and there was still a lot of heat in the sun.
For the first time this summer I saw a peacock butterfly. Unfortunately it did not consider the photographer and alighted briefly on the pink phlox. A riot of colour indeed but a bit of a mixed blessing as a blip.
So here it is toned down a bit.
