Cake attempts

Super busy day. Running about sorting out components and ingredients for since birthday cake. Attempted chequered mint and chocolate cake... Finally got enough bits and pieces to put together said cake... just a few bits of tweaking as ran out of some of the mixture.

Made chilli and hosted a farewell do for EB.
Was pretty chilled and fun.

Then over the water to see P's family for birthday things. Ate out at Ichiban - yum! Out for a couple after and then back to J&P's.
