Finally!!  The first Blue Banded Bee I've seen this summer season.   (Amagilla cingulata)

I usually get them in my own garden, but nothing so far. 

The first stop in our trip today was to a small but incredibly inspirational garden at Willunga, before driving onto a blueberry farm about an hour's drive south of Adelaide.  A lovely drive on a lovely day.  We had a small picnic in the grounds before indulging in a blueberry ice cream.

Now I have to get back into my own weed patch garden.
