Apples

Some of our trees, like this one are covered in apples although some of them look a bit rough, our Discovery only had three apples on it and two of those have dropped off; our very old tree does not appear to have any this year. The Bramley has quite a lot on, but they are very small this year; I blame the weather!

The pears are dropping off the tree before they are ripe although the two Muntjack that were eating them last night were quite happy with them.

After a thundery day yesterday, it rained overnight and looked as though it would rain again today, but so far we have had lovely sunshine; unusual for a Bank Holiday weekend, but no complaints from me.
