There's No Going Back!

We were fed up with the painting last night, the paint that we had just didn't take to the walls very well, even though it was Dulux. It took ages just to do one small area, so this morning I was at B&Q for when it opened and bought some Dulux Once.

What a difference! We've painted the whole of the living room in a few hours and then made a start on the chimney breast. The paint looked rather bright in the tin and I wondered if I'd made the right choice, but there's definitely no going back now I've started!

It'll need a second coat in a couple of hours, and it doesn't look as bright as it looks on this photo, so I think when it's finished and the furniture's back in place it'll be fine. We've also got the new mirror to hang on the chimney breast which will be a nice feature.

Anyway, I'm multi-tasking and am cooking a roast dinner while the paint dries, so I'd better get on!
