Clifton from the Downs
Across to Clifton on the bus early this afternoon and walked across the Downs to get this view of the Avon Gorge and the Clifton Suspension bridge with Bristol beyond.
Went to the arcade for a nice brunch and a look around some of the interesting shops, vintage and otherwise, that are found in Clifton village.
A cup of tea in a nice deli where we bought a deli box each for tomorrow's lunch (Grace will be at work) and we headed back over the down to get the return bus. As you can see the bridge was then lit so made a nice contrast to the almost mono first shot.
The second photo was taken at 5.00 pm, quite light I thought for that time or is it light till later in the south?
Another nice evening in. Candles lit and cats installed!
