Just Perfect

Day five and today just myself, the other half and my sister with her young brood went of to the beach at Nairn on advice given my my daughter who lives in Inverness.

What a hidden gem with what seemed like miles of totally unspoilt sandy beaches, superb views and no one else in sight. Warm sunshine and a lovely little cafe yards from the beach to keep us in refreshing brew.

Although the youngsters are only one at five years old and twins of two and a half they loved it. Give them a bucket and a spade and they played for hours on the sand and in the little pools formed when the tide went out.

Who says that the simple things in life do not make today's little ones happy..
