Dereliction Day
Good morning, afternoon, evening to you all.
Out early this morning for a trip up the Pennines. A poor day for landscape shots but a bonus when spotted by L this closed down, derelict, old boozer.
The traditional British Pub is in decline, possibly a relic of times when men had a pint every night. Some boozers suffered when drink driving was brought in but a quick slide over to serving meals soon sorted this out.
But now it seems they are disappearing at a fast rate. Drinkers cannot afford the prices, people more and more drink in the house.
Lots of our public houses have shut down and become, pool rooms, restaurants, shops, ice cream parlours... the list is ever growing.
Have a good one!
