Einstein

Last year our sister-in-law was lucky enough to visit the Chelsea Flower Show at which James Doran-Webb was exhibiting some of his wonderful creations.  He makes life sized sculptures using driftwood from long dead trees and they are so anatomically correct that they really feel alive.  His major exhibits tend to be animals like prancing horses or rutting deer and some weigh over a ton but it was this little tortoise that appealed to our sister-in-law as it was portable, affordable and appropriate as she keeps a tortoise herself.  It had been named Einstein by the artist himself.  If you want to see more of James Doran-Webb's wonderful work then have a look at his website - you will be amazed.  www.jamesdoranwebb.com
