A dry, mild and cloudy morning, ideal for washing a filthy car.  The dirt came off more easily than I expected so there was time for laundry too. 

It brightened around midday so after lunch I drove to White Moss for a wander Didn't expect to see the sun disappear behind Loughrigg as early as it did. 

I spotted this boat from the other side of the river but thought I'd get a better photo by walking back along this side. This is the best I could manage without wellies. I've no idea how it came to be wedged, facing upstream, half way between Grasmere and Rydal Water.
