pedal to the metal

A busy day.  

Spent the morning on the phone, sending emails and staring at a spreadsheet.  I’m trying to organise a charity concert for my cardiac rehab group; three acts (around 30 people) and only one date between now and the summer when a venue of the right size and price is available.  

It all works on paper; just waiting for confirmation now.  

Then the afternoon was a dash (observing speed limits) from one end of MK to the other shopping for Anniemay’s birthday tomorr … oops.

A note to my American friends; most British cars have three pedals.  The one in the middle is the clutch - a quaint artifact left over from the early part of the 20th C.  I know our brake pedal (the one on the left) is smaller than yours, but we tend to have smaller feet.
