Gritty task

We had our neighbour in for Sunday lunch today, and then, as the afternoon was still rain-free, I decided to work off the calories by weeding the terrace. Not my favourite task, but with the help of a very old, sharp trowel and a kneeler pad, I got it done!!
A baby robin kept me company, pecking up the ants that I disturbed, very tame.
