Sitting on the dock of the bay!

What could be nicer that sitting on the deck of these craft, sipping your G&T and watching the canal traffic  & the occasional bird or otter  go by. Right behind you is a restaurant , several shops and access to the main bus route.  In the evening I would be snug inside with atmospheric storm lamps hanging from the beams while reading a book then being  lulled to sleep by the ever so gentle ripple of the canal.  No internet, no intrusive modern day gadgetry. Bliss. I would pay for that privilege . It would be a novel and affordable way to tarry a while in this beautiful area.
