Gardening with feathers

John prepared a small plot for 3 rhubarb crowns that are in the post. . He found an old feather pillow in the shed and followed the words of the organic garden guru Lawrence Hills - author of Grow your own fruit and vegetables. Apparently the feathers slowly release nitrogen.

Folowing guidance from Emma Davies course I tried shots of snow drops this morning using the aperture on manual, mainly to look at the effect of the smallest and highest f numbers. Not too good BUT I have just noticed that not all snow drops have leaves. Our early plants do but the smaller later lot don't. It was when looking closely at MS blip yesterday I noticed the difference. Will post a rubbish example of leaves. I suspect snowdrops are not a good plant to experiment with.
