A new home
The two calves have been moved out of their small pens to a larger one now they are growing, but they are not quite big enough to put with the other three (one of whom is in the photograph). These have all been hand reared being orphans or calves brought in from a milking herd to befriend single orphans. We never like keeping animals in solitary confinement for weeks on end. In the summer they will all integrate with the weaned and bought in cattle out at grass until they are sold.
