Forgotten window

So many older farm buildings are now out of date and redundant.  Many of them are converted into holiday lets if there are the appropriate funds or left to slowly crumble and fall down.  Traditional farmyards are disappearing but if there is no money to save them what is the alternative?

A few remains of slushy sleet/snow first thing this morning on the grass; a bright day followed by more wind and rain tonight.  It is almost impossible to walk across the farm without acquiring large amounts of mud on the base of our boots on the slippery clay.

F from Sydney phoned this morning for a chat and a catch-up.  A great mutual friend of ours is in hospital in an induced coma in Portsmouth.  No-one knows at the moment what is wrong with her.  We just pray she will be all right.
