Sign factory

I knew the guy who owned this place. They made bespoke signage for businesses around Scotland. They had one guy who made neon signage by bending glass etc. It's empty now.

Presumably folk buy signs from the Internet and someone fits them. I guess they will be cheaper.

This place did the whole thing from design to fit. If you weren't sure what you wanted you could talk to a worker who would give you ideas, let you see sample material, even knock samples up. The neon guy would also let you bend glass - something done to the amusement of the other workers. The boss would visit the place where the signage would go and would give advice. There was no need for 3D drawings or image overlays or anything.

Past times I guess :(

Weather: cloud; 13 degrees c; light jacket weather; very mild.
