Sometimes life doesn't go according to plan???

Sorry folks; Ann has to rant! She needs help and she doesn't know where to get help from?  If there's any audio typists out there please let us know???

Having spent a fortune on a 'Pitman audio typing course' which was advertised as taking 15-20 to hours to complete, she's almost finished it in less than 6 hours?? Either Ann is super speedy or the course is rubbish???  Ann is not super speedy so the course must be rubbish?!! It's all about grammar and spacing and being accurate. She knows all that stuff. What she doesn't know............... is how to audio type at fast speeds?  So on this rubbish course, everyone just works through a work book at their own pace. There's two tutors who just sit in the classroom doing their own stuff and when one asks for help they can't actually help?? They don't know basic stuff like, 'how can I stop the audio playing but still see what I'm typing?' Surely that is very, very, very, very, very, basic stuff?  She can't believe that anyone who can only type at 25wpm would even want to do an audio typing course? Now Ann is going to have to confront the 'Principle/Director/Manager' of the school and tell them their course is rubbish??? It's ridiculous. Audio typists these days type at more than 100wpm. To do audio typing from home Ann needs a minimum of 70wpm. She's up to 75wpm but doesn't seem to be able to get past that. And the college doesn't seem to recognise the fact that online transcription is what she wants to do. What is the point of this course? Ann is seriously unhappy. She's learnt one thing – listen, transcribe a bit and then start listening again towards the end of the transcription.  But is that little bit of information seriously worth hundreds of pounds????

Unfortunately Ann is in angry mode tonight. She's shouted at me for no reason so I've retreated to my bed for a little snooze.

Sorry Blippers but Ann is mega upset, mega angry and mega annoyed that she's actually paid hundreds of pounds to do this course. She's got one lesson left to take tomorrow and then an exam which no doubt will give her a certificate that no one is interested in? #howcouldshehavebeensostupid

And if anyone is interested................ I went through the 'Hermitage of Braid' for my afternoon walk and did a bit of wallowing like a hippo in the burn.
