The heat is back but it's not that brain-meltingly humid kind from before.

Cleaning one's hard drive is just as much work as cleaning your house, the difference is it isn't mindless. Found some old pics to plug the gaps with and there are more, when I can get to it.

A new weekly neighborhood happy hour has been initiated, hosted by a different household every week. We've had four of them and it's getting bigger, more like a block party now. It seems like a good thing but could become a nuisance if people don't just accept that I don't always feel like sipping cocktails while talking small talk. Plus it's a bit of a competition, as the host provides the snacks and everyone brings their own booze. We'll see, it'll probably run its course and fizzle out, with a few core households keeping the tradition going.
