Stunning Milford Sound

Today was sunny and I went to Milford Sound. The drive there was beautiful. I left early and stopped at 6 or 7 different places where there were gorgeous views. I arrived a bit after 11am and got the last available place on a boat trip leaving at 12.15pm. It was a 2 hour trip around the Sound that got up very close to several of the waterfalls.


I don’t think photos can fully show just how spectacular the landscape is and how small and insignificant humans are in comparison. I took so many photos that it was very difficult to decide which one to blip. The main blip is taken from the boat and the extras are another from the boat and several from places along the road from Te Anau to Milford Sound.
