African Tulip Tree

Didn't take this photo today. Didn't take any today. Spent all day in and out of bed with sickness and diarrhoea. I'm blaming an odd dodgy peanut, as can't think what else. Mr PP and I ate all the same. Hey ho. Could be worse; tomorrow we fly back to the UK, so heaven knows how I'd have coped had it happened 24 hours later. And at least it's only one day lost from a month. If we'd only had a week, it would have been heartbreaking. So, counting my blessings! Now lining up layers in readiness to hit low temperatures on our return.

Chose this image as it's a tree we see so often in and around Funchal. They are spectacular.
