Iron Door Gold Mine

Local legend says that a Gold Mine is hidden in the Santa Cataling Mountains. The mine was sealed off with an Iron Door by prospectors before they were chased away by Indians. The mine with the iron door has never been found.

Since everybody knows that there is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, it is possible that this rainbow is pointing directly to the Iron Door Gold Mine.

Incidentally, many other mountain ranges have a similar legend. It makes a wonderful tale to be told around a campfire. And it fires the imagination...
