Lost horizons

The mist didn't lift all day in our part of Central Scotland. And it was cold to match. Undaunted, I decided to go for a walk along a short stretch of the Forth & Clyde Canal - from Wyndford to Dullatur and back - this afternoon. The views weren't great, but I enjoyed the variety of birdsong from land and water. The mist and the cold seemed to have kept many of the cyclists and walkers indoors.
