Come Wind Come Weather

This is Summer?
The wind and the sea roared all night, and the rain came bucketing down. Weren't we lucky that our trip up to the Totara Stumps was yesterday!
Maybe we'll get another taste of summer in February. It won't be the first time that the weather has come right after schools go back.

There's one excellent result out of it all though; the roof hasn't leaked! I'm so thankful. Maybe the roofer really has fixed those flashings.
