College Lake Nature Reserve

Very cold today so went for a walk around College Lake, a local nature reserve established from an old chalk quarry site.

It was very cold, but a sharp sunny day with lots of wildfowl around those parts of the lake that was not frozen and a couple of swans and their signet working out how to manage the ice.  

I think it would be fun to make a regular visit each month to note the change of season - and the residents.
