Let There Be Light

The weather was an improving picture today so, in the afternoon, I climbed Mellbreak via the scree on the north face, in anticipation of some great views from the summit cairn. It was not to be. The cloud piled in as I reached the top, and views on all sides were lost. Just as I was about to give up, the sun broke through and illuminated the distant ridge. It had all been worthwhile!
