Total Numpty

Our phone decided it had had enough of this world a couple of months ago so we've reverted to the emergency phone which was surplus to requirements from the late 70s in my old school. It's been handy in power cuts over the years when electronic phones are useless and mobiles can't be charged. And here's Sam, totally stumped at how to use the strange ancient Artefact when he tried to phone his Granda to tell him about how he'd got in with his Chemistry prelim.

"I've got to dial round all the way for every number!??!!"
"How am I supposed to dial and hold it?"
"Sam, that's the end you listen to, not speak in, you've got it upside down"
