City Street

This is Miller St in Glasgow. I was there to visit Firstport , a charity that encourages social entrepreneurship and which has been running a very interesting scheme in my constituency called "Vital Spark".

Their office is in the historic and beautifully restored "Tobacco Merchant's House" which is the HQ of the Scottish Civic Trust.

I was fascinated by the way the building sat within a very mixed streetscape which included a "Banksy" style figure on the opposite wall.

A very different image from many of my Argyll landscapes but full of energy and things to catch the eye.
