Hover fly.....

.....on some parsley gone to seed.

Possibly at the early stages or later stages of life as the markings aren't very strong. Loved the glistening wings and  little bits of pollen on the eyes, which I couldn't see until loaded onto my computer.

Lovely day to be strolling through my garden with a cuppa in hand, a light breeze with blue sky above this morning which changed to white cloud coverage this afternoon and became quite glary.....hence I've been indoors protecting my eyes, lucky I got my blip this morning.
