Snow Bear

Another day of perfect conditions as the temperature has not risen above freezing. Although the sky is blue it is very cold still.

The Glacier pistes behind the picture start at 3119m - about 10,000ft. There are some lovely blue and red runs of about 2 km each. To get over to this area we have to ski several other runs so perhaps did 10km to get here. We did these a few times, had soup for lunch in the only restaurant- €5 - then headed back, enjoying a few runs on the way. On the steep bit of one run a man came hammering over the hill where he couldn't see what was below and crashed into me. He kindly apologied and helped me get on my feet. A great day though!
