Midsummer Beauty

That's the name of this hebe which is beginning to flower at the top of the garden. I've several of these, and none of the others are blooming. I wonder why this one is so confused. Plants are a mystery, sometimes.

I haven't got beyond the garden today, I was waiting in for a new washing machine to be installed, and it is now working its way through the mountain that has gathered while we were without laundry facilities. You only appreciate these white boxes when they stop working!
