Ella shows me her certificates

Mr C and I are both feeling a bit tired today. Recovering from skiing I suppose, plus still having 'the cough' which we've had for 4 weeks. And no doubt the emotion of finding out our friend will not regain consciousness after her massive stroke. I'm going to spend time sitting with her when she gets moved to a palliative care bed nearer home. Had they not closed our local hospital saying it was not being used, she would have spent her remaining days close to her family and friends.

We looked after Ella and Nathaniel later in the day as their mum had a late meeting. Nathaniel showed us his big boy's bed and Ella took us to her room to see the certificates she had from her first term at school. One for being a good citizen by showing care towards others, and the other for forming her letters well.
