Jo Jo in da house

We are looking after two of the girls' cousins for the next few days to give their parents a well-earned break some time to do things. This here is the youngest of the clan: six-month old Jo Jo.

However, with an attention span of five seconds, being surrounded by pointless toys, dribbling non-stop, smelling of questionable smells, having a non-stop appetite every two hours and filling the house with the occasional vociferous whinge......I really must change when we have guests ;)

I meant to start on my lesson planning today, but decided to spend a few hours on my mini-IT project of assessing the possibility of using Google Nexus 7's in the classroom. Much more geeky fun geeky and fun. Think I have made tons of progress with it today - managed to lock out specific apps to prevent meddling and successfully syncing bookmarks between devices. See ....fun!

I secretly bought Mrs H a Nexus 7 yesterday as a surprise gift - she was over the moon. Say it with flowers chocolates jewellery shiny technology - who says romance is dead? What with fixing her iPod nano at the weekend, I am proving my worth for sure eh! Modern shining knights in armour us nerds ;)
