Bald Eagle

I usually take a walk every day, for years this has been through the nearby subdivisions as my dog did not like to jump into the car.  Sadly, without my walking companion I am free to take the car to trails outside the neighborhood now.  This morning was very foggy and only 34 degrees, but I took a short drive to the area between the Columbia River and Vancouver Lake.  There were so many birds, it was a wonderful walk, I am sure this will   become a frequent destination.  The best part of the walk was along a flushing channel, I was watching many heron on the other side when FLOCKS of geese came in for a landing.  I know there were Canadian Geese and Snow Geese, they were very noisy.  I will include that photo in extra photos.
