Wide Angle Distortion on Windy Wednesday

This is the second part of the Saxton Field sign.  It is the main sport and recreation facility for Nelson and Tasman.  I think getting the camera close to the sign has made the road seem further away than it is.  Even the car seems the same size as the fence which is not true.  I really liked reading up about wide angle shooting and thought I had it straight in my mind.  When I went out to practice not as easy as it seemed.
