A postcard from ..........

Muscat in the Oman.

Well done to Terrifo, mollyblobs, jensphotos and Stiffknees (and then tammiegirl) for guessing correctly yesterday.

These are the arches near the Sultan's Palace in Old Muscat - if you look carefully you can see a gentleman way down in the distance - he was with a stunningly beautiful young lady who was taking a lot of photographs of him and, strangely, his watch.  
They both gave me lovely smiles as they walked past.

Last full day today, half a day tomorrow and then flying back to the UK.
It's been a fabulous holiday and in both countries the locals have been more than welcoming and very friendly.  Have seen some wonderful sights, eaten some fabulous food and stayed in some great hotels.
All good things come to an end though ........ sadly.
