Beirette v

This is a neat 35-mm viewfinder camera made in the former East Germany by the company Beier in 1964-65. There is no rangefinder, but the E. Ludwig Meritar 45 mm f/2.9 lens can be focussed manually from 2 ft to 26 ft and infinity (I assume this camera was produced for the British market). The Priomat everset shutter has 3 speeds (1/30, 1.60 and 1/125 sec) and B. Apertures are from f/2.9 to f/22. It has a winding lever and a rewind crank, cable release socket, flash socket, and tripod socket.
The gleaming black finish of the inside looks much nicer than the "weathered" outside. The main problem is that it's very difficult to replace the back after the camera has been opened, and it may no longer be light-tight.
