Is it only August?

What a weird August non-Bank Holiday!

Being Scotland, we don't get the August Bank Holiday. Not for us the carnival atmosphere of Notting Hill. No! In Aberdeen a weekend of flash floods, three-feet deep.

More weird stuff... After a good day at work, we had a very slow journey home. A tragic accident elsewhere caused gridlock on the diversion roads and mad drivers' frustration leads to four crashes within half a mile on King Street!

Then a strange squall hits Ellon in the evening. Skies full of birds, bending trees, yellow skies and suddenly black. Can't believe my blip was taken on an August evening and not in the middle of winter. (The Ellon War Memorial of a Highlander has always impressed me.)
