Past its sell-by date

This building is an eyesore! It is a giant carbuncle destroying the old centre of Aberdeen.

It hides the historic Provost Skene's House, used by Cumberland's officers on route to Culloden. It is an affront to the majesty of the rejuvenated Marischal College.

It is crumbling and is now being slowly demolished. It will be no loss, architecturally, to the city.

But... there is still something captivating about the mix of concrete, glass and the sky. Well, on a gorgeous late summer's day at least!
