Recycled?

I thought I was seeing things when I saw this (follow the link to see its twin)  Unfortunately I have been unable to find any information about the children's treat.  What really intrigues me is that there are two dates on the beaker AND the National Trust have item 1276911 in their collection (which according to their website) bears a similar inscription with the dates August 13 1904 (could be misread/mistyped)  and  July 8 1911.  Were there lots left over in 1904 that were recycled until 1911?  The "twin" may have survived because there were several siblings.
