New Years Flower Market

In the same spirit as a German Christmass Market, the New Years Flower Market is a mess of people, food, and trinkets but unlike Christmas markets there are more flowers. At points the crowed was so large everyone was standing still and with venders hawking their wares with the aid of speakers it was a sensory overload. One of the more popular food stalls was one selling frozen sweetened strawberries, and other red berries, on sticks. Still as far as New Year traditions go this was one not to be missed. Tomorrow the real celebration kicks off and I can't help but feel lucky that my exchange is during the celebratory season. Here's to a lucky new year!
