Burning

There seems to be a lot of burning round us at the moment.  It's the Naturalist Trust's disposal method of choice, it seems (though I'm not quite sure if this was them, to be fair).  Not, I'd have thought, entirely ecologically sound, but very pretty against the sunlight.

I took this not far from the house.  I seem to have lost my energy today.  I must be having a senior moment, I can't find it anywhere ;)

Note to self:  now you know his hang-out, try stalking the kingfisher!
