Californian

A grey, overcast day had been brightened up by many a flower today. In mum and dad's garden, this Californian poppy appeared so delicate that I wanted to get a picture before it was blown away by the wind and rain that had been on/off all morning. Familiar with the more common poppies, including the Welsh poppy, I had not really seen one these in any great detail before. So here it is, in its prime, for me, for you.
